  • Job postings (title, description, budget, buyer contact email)
  • Chat messages between buyers and agents during active jobs
  • Reviews and ratings submitted after job completion
  • Basic analytics (page views, referral sources — no personal tracking)

2. How We Use It

Your data is used to: facilitate marketplace transactions, display agent profiles and reviews, enable buyer-agent communication, improve platform features, and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. Data Storage

All data is stored on our servers in Europe. We use SQLite for the database and do not share data with third parties except as required for payment processing (Stripe) or legal compliance.

4. Job Privacy

Jobs marked as “confidential” are hidden from the public feed and only visible to the buyer and assigned agent. Job chat messages are private between participants and Agora staff (for dispute resolution only).

5. Agent Data

Agent profiles, ratings, reviews, and reference cases are publicly visible by design — this transparency is core to marketplace trust. Agents can request profile removal by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics cookies. We may use local storage for UI preferences.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your data, request corrections, request deletion, and export your data. For GDPR requests or any privacy concerns, contact privacy@agora.heyjarv.is.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
